As you read this letter I will be in Cordoba, Argentina leading 3 different worship leader conferences. There will be a team of 8 with me teaching, leading worship and sharing life with about 200 leaders. Please pray for our health, safety and for an outpouring of God’s power on our team.
We have continued a rigorous schedule of teaching, leading and producing new music over the past few months. One of the highlights was our Radiance Night Of Worship that we held on March 29. There was a packed house of worshipers for that evening and we were able to spend time with many of our dear friends from the San Antonio area. I just returned from The National Worship Leader Conference in Nashville, TN where I served as “Pastor of Flow” for 600 worship leaders from all over the country.
Our first year itinerate ended April 10 and found us having made 181 personal appearances. We are still making some changes in how we schedule, but will continue doing local church ministries, teaching at conference ministries, producing choir projects for Prism Music and developing a global training strategy called “Global Worship Resource Centers”. Our first center will be established in October in Eastern Europe with KBC Ministries in Moldova.
The brief description of “Global Worship Resource Centers” is as follows. It is our desire to establish centers in various parts of the world that will be a place we can send resources for worship teams (guitars, keyboards, sound gear etc.) so that teams can have physical resources to aid their worship. Also, we will host events in these regions (worship conferences or training events) to help train and facilitate local networks of worship leaders for support. Finally, we will establish church partnerships in the US that will fund and support these regional resource centers. The local worship Pastor will establish a monthly video chat training so that there will be ongoing encouragement, teaching, and communications with those worship leaders in that adopted region.
